Universus is a university consortium for training and innovation whose members are the University of Bari, the Polytechnic of Bari, the University of Salento, the University of Foggia, the Municipality of Bari and the Banca Popolare di BARI.

Born in 1975 with the “mission” to combine and develop the relationship between technical and managerial culture, it is proposed as a structure for promoting the “pleasure of learning” throughout the life span, freeing creativity, enhancing everyone’s talents, increasing passion and sense of responsibility for the common good, stimulating both individual and collective planning.
