OBJECTIVES

PROJECT STRUCTURE

The i75 ADAM project is divided into four parts, each associated with one of the services made available by the Innoaid call.

  • Feasibility analysis
  • Design-driven innovation support services
  • Product/service innovation support services
  • Technological experimentation services

Feasibility analysis

The service aims to draft i75-SdF, an analysis document exploring the intelligent management of an electricity production plant using IoT and Cloud technologies from a technical, functional and economic point of view. Through i75-SdF:

  • The decision-making process leading to the choice of carrying out or not a specific intervention is defined
  • Useful information is provided to define the intervention project contents thus ensuring maximum feasibility

Design-driven innovation support services

The service aims to implement the “multistakeholder data-driven business model”. The model is an enabling factor for a “data value chain” where data is securely exchanged between companies and their partners, with the aim of creating value for all involved stakeholders.

Thanks to the i75-ATOMS cloud platform (within which the model is implemented) it is possible to reach an improved knowledge of the monitored process and the related assets.

Support services for product/service innovation - Technological experimentation services

The two services aim to design, prototype and test a versatile system with edge computing capabilities for the Industrial IoT named IoT Smart Edge, that can be used in different fields such as energy efficiency and process optimization.

SOLUTIONS

The identified solutions lead to the creation of the i75-ATOMS and IoT Smart Edge tools which can thus guarantee the following upgrades:

  • Thanks to i75-ATOMS it is possible to quickly and easily analyze the data, which are thus exploitable in an aggregate way and updated in correlation with the evolution and the asset state change. The data are represented through statistics and graphs.
  • IoT SmartEdge is designed for the industrial environment. Thanks to the most popular IoT protocols it is able to exchange information with various types of devices and to send data to the i75-ATOMS cloud platform. The collected data allow making decisions toward energy efficiency and processes optimal performance.
